Maják byl zničen za 2. svět. války němci (při odchodu z ostrova), obnoven byl v roce 1947.

Lighthouse was destroyed by the German troops at their retirement from the island and rebuild in 1947. / Der Leuchtturm war zerstört während dem 2. Weltkrig und im Jarhe 1947 war rekonstruiert.

Přístup - maják je nepřístupný. Ze silnice mezi městečky Havriata a Havdata se musí odbočit na vedlejší silnici vedoucí k pobřeží. Z téhle silnice odbočuje cca 1,5 km dlouhá štěrkova cesta (sjízdná pro Off-Roady).

(Aufreise - Zutritt ist vom Straße zwischen Havriata und Havdata. Es ist nötig auf eine Nebenstraße abbiegen. Von diese Straße geht es einen 1,5 km Pfad zum Leuctturm / acces - by road (only off-roads) or cca 1 km hike from secondary road - this can be reached from the road between Havriata & Havdata (it is necessery to turn left from this road to that secondary road); tower closed)
