28.3.1917 byla tato loď potopena na pozici South Arklow (Arklow jih) poté, co varovala obchodní a nákladní lodě před ponorkou UC-65. Posádka lodi byla ponorkou nejprve varována a bylo jí umožněno loď opustit. Po válce bylo Německo nuceno potopenou majákovou loď nahradit. Z této reparace byla postavena majáková loď Guillemont 2. Guillemont znamená v angličtině ALKOUN.

Dieses Feuerschiff war im 1917 durch ein deutsches U-Boot UC-65 versenkt. Es war an der Position South Arklow. / Sunk after attack of german U-boot  UC-65 in 1917 at the Soutk Arklow position.
