Vom dieser Leuchtturm hatte im Jahre 1898 Guglielmo Marconi und ihre Assistenen (Kemp und Glanville) die erste Übertragung des kommerziellen Radio aufbindet. / From here Guglielmo Marconi and his assistants, Kemp and Glanville, set up the World´s first commercial radio transmission across the water from Rathlin to Ballycastle in 1898.
